Thank you for the Bus!
It’s here! Our 28-passanger City Mission Academy school bus arrived recently to the enthusiastic shouts of students and teachers. It is the perfect size for our school and will help make our student’s field trip learning experiences a lot easier.
“I love the bus because it’s City Mission’s and because it’ll have a lot of kids riding on it,” said CMA first-grader Markayla Mayes. “It’s for our field trips,” she said.
Thank you to everyone who donated resources enabling us to purchase the bus. We received $31,150 in contributions! We were able to bring the bus home in time for our next field trip by taking out a loan for the outstanding amount.
We still need to raise $8,850. A donation of any amount would help us pay off the balance on the loan as soon as possible.
