Iyahanna Herriotte is excited about going with her family to City Mission’s Summer Family Camp at Camp Cherith this summer.

Your contribution to the Detroit Free Press Charities Summer Dreams Program will make it possible for Iyahanna and 40 other Brightmoor children and their families to go to family camp this summer with City Mission.
The Herriotte family, along with all of our City Mission program families, has the opportunity to get out of the inner city and enjoy the great outdoors of Michigan, plus all the fun activities of summer camp, with their tutor and mentor families and all the staff families from City Mission.
After April 28, contributions can be made on-line at the Detroit Free Press Charities Web site. All donation checks must be made payable to “Children First” with City Mission in the memo line. Mail your checks to City Mission or make a payment through our Web site after the 28th.
City Mission Summer Family Camp 08 is about building relationships across social, economic and racial lines, between our families in Detroit’s Brightmoor community and their tutoring/mentoring families from the suburbs.
